Italic
Use this menu entry (or the more handy keyboard shortcut) to style
the selected text in italic. When you apply this function on italic
text then its italic attribute will be removed.
Hint: When you hear a system sound
instead and the text stays in its previous style, the currently used
font probably has no Italic font face.
