The action menu offers additional options:
If you have marked a text area in the currently selected text
frame, the Edit Text Ruler
dialog will open, containing the
parameters of the (first!) text ruler in the marked text. A
new ruler can then be created, which will be added with these
parameters to the text ruler list.
If you have marked a text area in the currently selected text frame, all used free text rulers from the marked text area are immediately added to the list of text rulers, if no text rulers with the same parameters already exist in the list. iCalamus automatically names the new rulers – you should rename them appropriately.
If you have selected a text ruler in the list, you can create a copy of the text ruler.
If the text ruler list contains at least two text rulers, you can sort them by text ruler name or text ruler value. Value means the parameters of the text ruler, starting with text alignment (left justified, centered, etc.).
Use this function to load a previously saved text ruler list into your current document. The text ruler entries of the loaded list will be appended to the current list of the document.
You can save the text ruler list of the current document. This way you can share ruler lists in your documents or with other iCalamus users. Choose a good place to save and manage your text ruler lists. The file extension is .icpsl.
