Several iCalamus inspectors offer a blend mode which allows you to change the output method of the selected frame. The original data of the frame stays unchanged though. Thus, the blend mode can be reset or changed at any time.
Bascially, the blend mode defines how colors which are used in a frame (source colors), should be blended with colors of the background (backdrop colors). Background means all frames which are placed behind the selected frame in the hierarchy.
The blend modes offered by iCalamus are identical to those used in PDF. Therefore, the PDF output of iCalamus documents will be identical as far as blend modes are concerned.
