The Text inspector and the Text Style inspector offer all
available text style parameters. But sometimes, you'd rather want to
simply select a certain part of your currently edited text, and
pick
its text style without naming it and handling it in the
list of text styles. In fact, you even don't have to mark a part of
the text, but you can also place the text edit cursor on a text to get
the style right to the cursor copied. This is exactly done by this
function. You may want to remember its even more handy keyboard
shortcut.
