InDesign and iCalamus have their own document formats, but support exchange of standard formats for text, images, and vector graphics.
InDesign documents cannot start with a left page in double page mode.
InDesign uses a special tool (Direct Selection tool) for editing of object content, while you simply open objects in iCalamus.
In InDesign, the Selection tool will be activated temporarily by pressing [Control], while you have to press [Option] in iCalamus.
You cannot cancel a tool action or switch back to the Selection tool by pressing [Escape] in InDesign.
'Empty' shape frames can be selected in InDesign only by clicking their Outline.
